Handmade character

Small variations in shape or texture are part of the character and craftsmanship of every piece. They are not imperfections.

Know your material

Your bag is made from one of the following materials. Follow the instructions that match your piece.

• Raffia — a lightweight natural fibre that develops character over time.
• T-shirt yarn — a soft, durable, and flexible cotton-blend material.
• 100% cotton — a soft natural fibre used for the Bloom Eyewear Sleeve.

Raffia care & storage

• Wipe gently with a dry or slightly damp soft cloth.
• Avoid soaking or machine washing.
• Keep away from prolonged moisture and heavy rain.
• Avoid prolonged direct sunlight to help preserve colour.
• Store in a cool, dry place, upright or lightly filled with tissue paper to maintain its shape.
• Do not fold it or place heavy objects on top.

T-shirt yarn care & storage

• Spot clean whenever possible.
• If necessary, hand wash gently in cold water with a mild detergent.
• Do not bleach, machine wash, or tumble dry.
• Reshape while damp and allow the bag to air dry flat.
• Store in a dry place away from direct sunlight.
• Avoid hanging the bag for long periods while it carries heavy items, as this may stretch the handles.

Caring for 100% cotton

• For small marks, blot gently with a clean damp cloth and a small amount of mild detergent; do not rub.
• Do not soak, bleach, machine wash, tumble dry, or iron the eyewear sleeve.
• Blot excess moisture with a clean towel, reshape by hand, and dry flat away from direct sunlight or heat.
• Store it clean and dry, lying flat with the handle relaxed; avoid hanging it for long periods.

Everyday protection

• Avoid overloading the bag with excessive weight.
• Keep it away from sharp objects that may snag the crochet stitches.
• Cosmetics, oils, perfumes, and ink may permanently stain the fibres.
• Slight stretching may occur with regular use because every bag is handmade.
